Coils/Pods

The coil is the heating element that vaporises the liquid. A pod, or cartridge, is the small container that holds the liquid: in some devices the coil is built into the pod and you replace the whole pod, in others you replace only the coil inside it. "Head" is the everyday name for both.

The coil or pod must be from the same series as the device. For example, XROS pods fit VAPORESSO XROS devices, and PNP coils fit VOOPOO devices that use PNP. Every product lists the compatible models, and if in doubt, send us a photo of your device on WhatsApp and we'll tell you what fits.

Usually after one to three weeks, depending on how much you vape and the liquid. Very sweet liquids burn coils faster. Signs it's time: a burnt taste, less vapour or leaking.

A higher-resistance coil (usually 0.6 ohm and up) gives a tight, cigarette-like draw (MTL) and suits nicotine salt. A low-resistance coil, below about 0.5 ohm, gives lots of vapour and a direct-lung draw (DL), and suits 100 ml e-liquids at low nicotine.

Packs of pods and coils cost 15–90 NIS at our store, and most contain 2 to 5 units. We carry pods and coils from OXVA, VAPORESSO, VOOPOO, GEEKVAPE, ASPIRE, LOST VAPE and FREEMAX.

Fill it with e-liquid and wait 5–10 minutes before the first puff, so the cotton inside the coil soaks up liquid. Puffing on a dry coil burns the cotton, and the coil will taste burnt from the start.
